Upcoming show!

I have my first show this month! I have been frantically knitting and crocheting, felting and brainstorming to the point that my hands ache!

The upcoming show is an open house for Team Trail Mix. I am a member of this team and we are raising funds for the Scott County Relay for Life July 8, 2011! There will be wares of all sorts available... Premier Jewelry, Pampered Chef, Babsy Mama Designs, Pure Romance, Stampin' Up and more! It will be held Saturday, October 23, 2011 at 2:00pm - 4:00pm. A Pure Romance party will follow for those interested. It will be at the home of tri0chair Joey Skogrand, 593 Westwind Ave, Shakopee, MN. I completed my first crochet pattern the other day and am very proud of myself. I will be posting it soon for all to use free of charge. So many people give their patterns for free, what an amazing community, so I want to give back!

The Beginning of Babsy Mama

Hiya! My name is Abbie. I am a 31 year old single mom to an awesome 3 year old boy named Gus. I am starting this blog for the mamas out there who think it can't be done. I live work full-time as a paralegal, live on a limited budget and am trying to be a bit more "green".

I love to create, but I have found that I often fall in love with a hobby and then the moment passes and I am left with buckets of stuff. The things I do regularly include sewing, crochet and drawing. I have been working on new patterns for cloth AIO diapers and cloth mama pads. Hopefully this medium will allow me to share these things with you!
